A unique 100% wool hand-knotted square rug by Barbara Barry. An all wool version of this classic design from Barbara Barry, the Quilted design quietly grounds decor with simple elegance and enduring design. This rug is available in square size 8x8 and would work well in a dining nook, home library or reading room, studio or bedroom. Quilted Custom Color was hand-knotted in Nepal from the finest Himalayan wool using our Setana weave. The Setana construction uses yarns that are thicker than those used in our Kotana, Timpa and Shakti weaves and has a slightly higher average pile height of 0.55 inches. Quilted Custom Color is a unique spruce green color with accents in moss green and beige.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.

Cleaning and Care

Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
