A vibrant red hand knotted Himalayan wool rug infused with an Eastern aesthetic.
This glorious, bold red rug was made in Nepal with 100% Himalayan wool using our Kotana weave. The imagery of the pomegranate has a long and varied significance in the Middle East and the Orient including consideration as the original forbidden fruit of Paradise, symbolizing vitality, blood, life, the fertility of body and mind. The field color is a deep brick red, and the lyrical vines and artfully detailed flowers were crafted using slate grey, robins egg blue, pale blue, gold, beige, tan, and sage green.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.

Cleaning and Care

Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
